    Hello.

I noticed that MSI AfterBurner doesn't see hotspot temperature on Gigabyte Aorus RTX 2000 series (tested with RTX 2060 Super and RTX 2080 Ti). Is there any way to fix it? (except adding 3rd party dll).
I can see this temp in e.g. GPU-Z or HWInfo.

Also is there any way to under volt this GPU? I see only ability to add voltage in percentage.

    Thank you!

For the voltage use the curve editor

my ampere card does not have those settings in afterburner either

Nvidia asks software vendors to not expose the hotspot temperature reading to avoid ignorant people panicking about their "unsafe" temperatures. (See: People panicking and fearmongering about the "unsafe" temperatures on AMD when the hotspot temperature had to be displayed due to the boosting depending on it.)

Software developers that are connected to Nvidia (like Afterburner thru MSI) tend to follow Nvidia's guidance.

Yeah same here and it bothered me until I read about their limits and timespy could reach 105c!!

after i replaced the crap thermal pads on it it never went above 94c

This 3060Ti doesnt get above 80c so I guess you dont need to see it

Only real gripe i have is there is no VRAM temp reporting

Yeah VRAM temp is also hidden in this section of temperatures and I agree, that it's more important then hot-spot temp.
Yes, I know that HS temp can go over 100°C. On my RTX2080 Ti I have mostly around 90°C which is OK, but I changed thermal paste with Grizzly Kryonaut.

But AB also provide unofficial overclocking after unlocking in settings :)
So would be nice to have ability to show these hidden temp by some "experimental switch" in setting.

One way could be to make plug-in for MSI afterburner e.g. using the NVAPI wrapper mentioned above.
Unfortunately, I don't have enough skill in this kind of programming :(

No need to try to push this functionality, NV doesn't frack your brains when they demand to change something in AB, they do it with MSI and MSI redirect it to me. I don't need this headache with restricted functionality just because you want to see it and I said NO. NO is NO.
