Hy boys... i have a question for your team.... i have set some hotkeys in Option of my Ati Tray Tools 1.2.6.964 but now this hotkeys not working. It's normal ??
i have try this hotkeys on the windows desktop.... i have make some test: If i try to set a combination of button (Es. CTRL + 1(tn) the hotkeys not work.... if i set a single button the hotkeys works well. Some games blocks the ATT hotkeys? i need the hotkeys for upgrade gamma.. contrast and brightness.......
aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh.... i have found the problems....... take a look: - at the hotkey option panel i try to set the correct combination... for example to call a profile -After i press "ok" button the result it's different Now when i try to recall an hotkeys with the combination CTRL + 1 (on number pad) this combination not work...... i need to use normal button "1".... Ati Tray Tools set a wrong button........
This is not ATT's bug. This is bug of HotKey component used in ATT. I will try to find updated version for this component, or will write my own.
I thought I was a bug of the program.... that the bug interests only hotkeys i know only now If I have understood well you are working in order to correct the problem?
Hi all Ray, this question is for you: First of all: Thanks a lot for ATT, it's just great and highly usefull I have a second pc with an ATI X1600pro GC and I use hotkeys to increase/decrease gamma ingames but pressing them once only effects very few Is there a way to have ATT increase/decrease gamma more on each hotkey pressing? I have no problems in modifying some line in a file (using Notepad 2) if you tell me wich Thanks
I just installed ATT in Vista 64 and got past all the low level driver bunk but my Hotkeys have no effect on the screen. They show as enabled, ATI Hotkey poller isn't running, I tried several different key combinations, nothing has any effect. I'd attach a screenshot but cant... It says "No properties available for this action under the key assignment.. where the post above shows "Selizonia the color option" or something in a drop down. I have no drop down window under the Keystroke window... I remember older versions already came with Hotkeys assigned (and they worked), maybe I can try one of them? BTW, It DOES move the Color sliders in ATT using the Hotkeys (I have to close the view, hit the hotkeys, then when reopen you see the sliders moved) but has no effect on the screen, does not move the sliders in ATI Control Panel.
Not the ATI app. but yes isn't the purpose of this utility to be able to change Gamma/Brightness, etc. in other programs (Games for instance)? I was just adding the fact that it moves the color sliders in ATT but has 0 effect on the screen but the ATI Contol sliders do have an effect on the screen, but not in-game (and the ATI Hotkeys have never worked for me in XP OR Vista). I also double checked and my monitor is "Display 2" and the Hotkeys are set to Display 2 (and I tried set to Display 1, no change).
No. ATT change colors for driver, not for application. Try to plug your monitor to first DVI port on video board
Understood, I will try a different port and report back, thanks Ray. Dissconnected Crossfire cable, plugged into DVI port on card#1, still reports as Display #2 in ATT and doesn't work. Plugging into 2nd card has no video display.
Just want to add this is a dual boot machine and ATT Hotkeys work perfectly (and always have) in XP Pro...
