Model: HP M8300F HP Pavilion Media Center is the case with the 8600 in it running at 75c at idle and I think it is to much of a hot card for the case any suggestions

Yeah, that doesn't seem like a normal temp at idle, though it could be affected by ambient temperature, botched fans, dust, etc. Have you cleaned the case thoroughly? Is your room air conditioned?

Yes room is AC and the case is dirty, which I am going to clean this week for my cousins son, who just passed at 46 years old on the 10th of this month so I am the Godfather of his daughter and have to step up to help with thing around there house . Thanks for the help I might be able to add a side case fan to help cool the VGA. I have only had this case open once and its a nightmare to work on not much room.

That seems like a clogged up fan indeed. Probably more like a disc of dust instead of a fan.

Carefully remove the dust, that should help a lot already. (cleaning out the rest of the case is a given)
