Yeah, i just tried it, and the game has no optimisation issues so far.

Pretty solid 55-60fps with everything on highest, 8xaa 1920x1080.

Umm, Core i3s aren't impressive at all. Many minimum required Core 2 Duos and Core 2 Quads would outperform Core i3s.

lol, i7@3ghz and a GTX295, are those accurate to how performance is, as its not a game i usually go for, so not even tried the demo.

I know i3 are not that impressive, but think initially we were thinking poorly optimized, which thankfully isn't the case.

Thanks guys for reporting! Nice to know that the game has no performance issues. :D
How about game play and graphics?

Can't wait to have it already :D

Redemption80, I'd say it's fairly accurate. Some of the scenes when your talking to to a n npc look extremely good. They are right up there with Mass Effect & Dragon Age, though you don't need that kind of power to run those games. :p Overall the game looks fairly good. I manage to run it around a 35 fps average(maxed out) with a high gpu OC. I haven't patched it yet so it may help.

Nope, not that i could see performance wise.

Visually its not great, not bad, but kinda how you expect in that its a high res console game.

Gameplay wise, well won't be too harsh as 30mins isn't ideal to judge, but if your a Bond fan and don't expect huge things, and you won't be disappointed.

ShadowMyth, just tried the Arcadia demo on Steam there, and yeah, 25-30fps for me with everything maxed, looked ok, but needed some AA, and some of the post processing effects look iffy, i did lol at the European/American colour setting though.

Speaking of Bond I may have to buy a Wii if James Bond Goldeneye 007 can't be emulated. ;) I really want to play that game. Scratch that looks like it works according to elgoog.

IGN's 5/10 review said that the PC version had the best graphics without any of the inconsistencies of the PS3 or Xbox 360 versions. I know we should expect that but, sadly, that isn't always the case if a game is ported to the PC as little more than an afterthought with ridiculous system requirements.

Well it does appear that way, and while i wouldn't say its a good port, its not a bad one either, but rather than expecting bells and whistles with games like these, im more concerned with them working.

Not too bad on the visual options either, still pretty basic, but a still some amount of configurability, will have to try forcing AA though, ingame isn't quite what i would expect from 8x.

    @ Hodgeson

It got a 7.5 on console from Gamespot, Ign have been very off with their reviews of late.
eg, NBA 2k11 PC the reviewer said the game has a bad framerate on low end and even very high end rigs,
Which is rubbish because I get 130-150FPS and even PC gamers that left comments said they were getting around 70-80FPS on core2duo's.

So your getting 55-60FPS?! cool that means it aint capped.

Yeah, just saw the GameSpot review and decided to pre-order the game from GAME for £20. Sounds good from the write up and the videos I've seen look fun too.

As for IGN, I've always found them to be inconsistent anyway and rarely, if ever, agree with their reviews. I also find the standard of writing to be generally poor and their Blu-ray reviews are even worse. They gave the original 2009 transfer of Gladiator on Blu-ray 10/10 for the picture when it had been DNRed and EEed to death. I can never understand their popularity to be honest but I suspect it has something to do with them generally being the first to post any review.

After the Gamespot F*** up on the first Kane & Lynch review I never really trust these big sites. They usallly get it right but I would rather take the metacritic review after around 10 reviews.

Oh yeah, is there actual blood in this game ?

CrossfireX users can get it working by using Oblivion CrossfireX profile, tried it and can play at steady 60 FPS, vsync+triple buffering on (engine is capped at 60 FPS, better than the previous one which was capped at 30 FPS). And there are graphics options like AA, SSAO, etc.

Runs maxed out 1920x1080 here with no problems. 60+ FPS constantly.
