Then the whole videogame thing is an illusion lol, what exactly is wrong with having a doubled framerate with no visual degradation? FG works great if you're doing enough fps and the input lag is practically non-existent. EDIT: I forgot to ask, there were some reflection tweaks that made them less fuzzy and shimmery, does it still work? What was it? And, after some further testing, I admit there is indeed some stuttering here and there, but it's extremely reduced, the frametime is much more stable now.
Both this game, and TLOU are completely different games performance-wise now. I was happy with the performance before with 1440p DLSSp maxed on 3070/5800x3d/32gb But now DLSSq gets MORE frames than DLSSp did before, in BOTH of these games. I thought vram was the issue (to some of you)? Now we have videos out there by "respected" channels benching the broken versions of these games, misrepresenting this community. Think these "respected channels" will update there videos? Doubt it. I think most of you should get on those channels, and call for a RE-BENCHMARK.
Here (TLOU 1 latest patch): -> https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/3080-ti-owners-thread.438203/page-27
i unsubbed from hw. They are tools. They actually lost subs with all of this, must be good for biz. Never again will I take them seriously. Imagine my surprise when I got TLOU, maxed the game out and just 7500mb vram were used and 0 sutters and perfect 1% and 0.1%. Guess they figured out what texture streaming is. Screw them.
No reason to get upset. You can choose not the trust the reviews thats fine. Most of the DF reviews are sponsored and when i see Alex in there i cringe but its all good i choose not to watch what i consider biased so can you.
Can someone check the version of the streamline dll files? Theres supposed to be a dlss3 fix for amd cpus coming in an sl update. Maybe we can just copy those files then to other games
That's true, since Source2 is barely used in any games. On the other hand the amount of games using UE4 that have performances issues is gigantic. UE4 has become one of the worst game engines ever to curse PC gaming.
UE became garbage on PC when Epic went all in with Xbox and Gears of War. A lot of UE ports on PC in that 360 era were also plagued with traversal stuttering (although shader stuttering wasn't a thing yet). So UE4 is just continuing that tradition of being bad on PC, and I also don't have high hopes for UE5. Those who expect all PC issues will be fixed with UE5 will be disappointed and are a bit naive. Epic had 25+ years to perfect UE for PC, they just don't care. UE was only good on PC when Epic's main focus was PC (years 1998-2004).
