Overall it was good. Lengthy and detailed.

I have a few comments.

1. For the Dual Display:
"Much like Matrox products the Radeon 8500 architecture includes technologies that allow for natural support of dual independent display. It contains two integrated RAMDAC (both of which are running at 350MHz),"

I thought that the Radeon 8500 RAMDAC is 400Mhz? Higher than all current graphic cards.

2. Benchmarks
Why didn't you run in 16-bit color also? I think for the old Radeon it was configured for 32-bit color, but for the 8500, ATI improved the 16-bit to further compete with the GeForce series.

Just thought of something. What OS did you use? You didn't mentioned it in the review. (Hilbert...don't get sloppy like Tom and Anand )

I'm sort of disappointed that the Radeon is still behind the GFTi500. With the RAMDAC and features I know it can beat it. ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!!

Now, I'm actually starting to think that the drivers are somewhat the problem, but I have to clear that thought away quickly.

Overall, good review. :::smiley with thumbs UP!:::
