Just found out that my HD 595's have been finally repaired so hopefully I get them back this week. As far as I know the headband changed to Magic Red version so it should end up looking like this:

So far I like the Numark N-wave 360's I just gotta get speaker stands to get them ear level,Found out their Near-fields Monitors so i had to make sure i place them correctly.

Edit: any one know any Speaker stands I can place on a desk so i can get the speakers ear level. With some kind of adjustment for height?

I've seen some use some sort of angled foam-like stands that help absorb vibrations from the speakers. They angle the speakers so that they'd be firing to the ears as one sits in front of the monitor. The supposedly good ones aren't exactly cheap though....

Yah, Genelec Iso Pad was one of the first (afaik) if not the first of those.
    http://www.juno.co.uk/products/genelec-iso-pad-for-m030-monitor-single/509371-01/

There are few different ways to use those.

    Cheap ones:

Genelec does have speaker stands with height adjustment but those cost about as much as the monitors you bought...

Setting the speakers to correct angle should help, or just put some boxes/books under those. How hight from the desk you want to position your speakers ?

Thanks. My ears are thanking me. HD 595 is just incredibly comfortable vs. HD668B. It fits on my head perfectly (let alone sound quality difference, especially soundstage).

Bought an old HP DC7800 (upgraded RAM to 4gb and HDD to a WD Blue 250GB + 64bit Vista HP), this will be my music server of sort, will be using it for audio appreciation as well as for watching vids (hence the speaker) when I go to bed. I'd gotten a MS AIO keyboard so I can do some lazy surfing in bed.....

Following some suggestions, I'd gotten two Ikea toilet paper holder to mount under my table tops, they look pretty nice and serve well as headphone holders.....
