It is not where you're born, it's where you end up. You cannot blame someone for the accident of their birth. You can blame them for the intentions of their life.
I am late to the party Greece , where the sun is bright the beaches infinite and our internet connectivity lag 10-20 years . Oh and we never got out of the 2008 crisis .
Visited your town, loved the landscapes and castles. Before the pandemic, I wish I could return to finish all the sightseeing. Amazing Portuguese cuisine, and I am not so easy to please.
I´m from Portugal. The real Portugal, in the north, not the moors part of it One of our most emblematic symbols is a big........... Spoiler In Portugal a cock doesn´t have the same connotation as in some English Speaking countries.
I'm from South Carolina Go Cocks!.... PS: the dogs here utilize everything for a back scratch! https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=226985399523668
Portuguese never needed drugs to do weird stuff Here is the ultimate symbol of the Portuguese people. We have already changed flags a couple of times, but this has been the symbol for the Portuguese people, for centuries. It´s called the "Zé Povinho".
Nice one amigo, i love the culture down there. I'm a fan of the Moors tho, love Andalucia, love the Berbers of Maroc.
That´s the reason for a joke I made in a previous post. Portugal was under the rule of Moors for some centuries. But not the north part, above the river Douro. So we northerners joke that the real Portugal is in the north.
Yes. Portugal is a very welcoming country, with very friendly people. And one of the most peaceful countries in the world. This thing about the Moors is but a recurring joke. You would be surprised at how much length Portuguese go to understand and help other people when they visit Portugal. In fact the Iberian peninsula is one of the earlier melting pots. Many people have lived here, Carthaginians, Romans, Germanics, Arabs, Jews, French, etc.
Ah i see, i had no idea they were in Portugal also, i'd love to visit one day for sure. Great info Horus.
