Talking with airbud7 can be quite an experience. One thing the internet is lacking now days is conversing with others without the filter of social media.
I live in Sweden, which is in the middle of IKEA country. We're a bit blue from time to time but also kinda yellow. The moose is loose just like in Canada. Rotten herring for breakfast every day (not true). The best thing is having tons of different taxes (ever heard of chemical tax or copyright tax related to hardware?). Anyway, go ABBA!
Actually, yeah there's such a thing too. They used to collect an extra "tax" on casettes and CDs and even HDDs to compensate certain companies for piracy... Check this out my friend: https://translate.google.at/translate?sl=de&tl=en&u=https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speichermedienverg%C3%BCtung Well... is it? Phone's still work like they used to do... writing letters has just saved paper when you use an email... and getting together for a drink's still the best I hardly use SM to converse with others, except this here and due to the lack of technological affinity in my relatives, sometimes messenger services. Other than that... I mostly see people staring into their smartphones when I don't. Then again, we're not "digital natives" as they are called.
Hey, Sweden ranks pretty high on the freedom index (slightly below the US on average). Canada ranks higher though Sweden is ranked: #17 according to the Cato institute (tied with the US, Canada is #5) #19 according to the Heritage institute (US is #12, Canada is #8) #17 according to the Fraser institute (tied with the US, Canada is #5)
Not sure if real country or just a meme-land called Belgium But there's real nice beer and fries so it's ok. I did work in the Netherlands (or "Holland" for tourist peasants) for a couple years and it's very nice as long as shops/bars stock imported beers. edit: Who can possibly resist these delicious Begian fries? They will make you give up whatever diet regimen you are trying to follow and completely spoil ptoato fries for you because the ones from the other fast food restaurants will never be as good as these..
Same here Hertiage is botched... HK lands on #1... we shall see how free they are. But generally, I guess the top is pretty crowded, and soon thereafter, the gap widens. But I have to admit I only had a brief look at the links. Still: Oh Canada...
Helsinki, Finland here. Enjoying the endless autumn and darkening days. But at least I have a hypermarket open 24/7 next to me so I can see some light.
