Speaking of being lied to as a child, I always remember when I first went to the opticians, I think I was about 5 years old, had my eyesight tested and it was revealed I needed glasses - I remember very clearly what the optician told me. "If you were these glasses all the time, eventually your eyesight will improve and you wont need to wear the glasses as you get older...." HE LIED, 26 years later and my eyesight is so bad that I cannot see clearly without my glasses...
I too was told that, I'm 69 and worn glasses for ever. In fact I'm booked in to have a cataract removed shortly
just got a new apple watch
you like it ?
just in case
Not what I was expecting to see outside of the local store here a few days ago but that's some real nice parking there. (But I suppose it'd have to be squeezed in somehow without blocking everything else ha ha.)
EDIT: Actually what with Operation Spring Fire or what it translates into the joint operations training they do around here on a yearly basis I would have expected more military vehicles outside of the pizzeria more so than this engineering truck of some sort outside the convenience store but it was surprisingly calm other than a few jeeps and similar sized vehicles while that was going on.
Would have made for a lovely picture though seeing the pizza shop parking full of armored vehicles.
(EDIT: Appears it's called Fire Spring not Spring Fire. https://i.ytimg.com/vi/LE1XhA75f1E/maxresdefault.jpg )

The 7.62mm on the roof of the cab is lit! Either pull over and get out of the way, or, "Get some!"
Very impressive when you zoom into all the equipment.
Norway right? or Sweden?
