Dudes I meant absolutely no disrespect to anyone worldwide. The song is about people that bust their @$$ all night and day in a system ran by the rich that keeps us broke. A system that wants to invade every part of our life. Many are one paycheck away from being homeless. Rich Men North of Richmond are rich men everywhere that wants to keep their foot on our necks so our dollars consistently feeds them. In many places all over, the currency is being devalued, the culture and of course the people. Sorry if this ruffled some feathers. Post removed.
Nah dude I just meant, they don't even get the allegory you described, that it's not about Richmond, but about the moneyz. But to be an anthem, people even have to know the song. Which hardly anybody outside of the 1st world does. Like I said, good song anyway, because he's just as right as you are. That's why I say we need more pitchforks, torches and guillotines in capital cities.
