i was wondering if anyone figured out how to get a constant fps of 70 or higher in counter-strike using the the radeon 64 mb ddr. i can't seem to keep it at a constant 99, if anyone could help that would be great. thank you
I had 60 to 71(limited it in CS somehow, to lazy to turn it off ) I was at 1024x768res, didn't mess with any detail options. I just hit quality and turned off vsync in the Radeon control settings place.

  3. There is some console setting that you type in...I think it is somewhat: max_fps 99. I doubt it is this, but something similar. Could so one else come by and give the right answer.......?

    fps_max X
(X being whatever the hell you want, 100 is best, I think halflife engine will limit it at that anyways even if you take it higher.)
If you want a good guide about tweaking CS settings, try
