e0 is better than c1
my c1 qx9650 needs 1.45v for 4ghz
I got my Q9550 to 3.6 GHz with leaving everything on Auto in bios. Vcore shows 1.32 in CPU-Z is this a predifined amount that the bios takes when the value is kept on Auto?
it seems to be, mine regardless of what FSB I choose if I leave the vcore on auto and lower my ratio to 6x. At 475x6 (which would make it 2.8GHz (the stock speed) it pumps 1.375v into it. And after i booted the CPU Term voltage on Auto at 4.2GHz, and it put it at 1.6v (anything for a 45nm CPU above 1.4v is dangerous) I no longer use auto settings lol.
Oh god, never leave anything auto when OCing...
Meh you can safely go up to 1.45v on a 45nm core 2 duo or quad as long as temps are ok
