It would be worth getting a GTX 680 2GB over a GTX 580 3GB. Where did you find GTX 580 3GB for 350£?

Well ye, i wouldn't bother with a 580 anymore now.

You could wait for the Galaxy/KFA2 GTX 680 4GB, it also has a nice Dual 100MM Fan Solution. And is still Dual Slot.

That's personaly what i'm waiting for.

680 ? probably way to expensive, i imagine the 680 being well over the £400 mark which i'm just not happy spending that much bunce on a card, ive found various 1.5gb's and 3gb's all ranging from 300-350, and i expect them coming down a bit more when 680 comes out proper.

cheapest ive found yet is from overclockers uk, it was their own gtx580 1.5 for £299 and that's with shat sorry i mean vat.

Then go with a 3GB Model.

After reading your comment, I suppose there is no point in recommending 7950, right?

The cheapest 580 I can find at oc.uk is their self-branded 1.5GB card at 300£, as you've already mentioned.

The cheapest 3GB is a gainward phantom at 340£. Great card and the extra 40£ seems reasonable enough for the additional 1.5GB memory BUT, and it's a big BUT (literally), it's a triple-slot card, so make sure it's ok for you to sacrifice a slot.

If triple-slot is a no go, then you can get the next 3GB card which is dual-slot. It's again a self-branded card, at £390. A little bit steep, if you ask me.

    The choice is yours.

If possible, I'd say wait until 670 Ti and 670 come out. Then go for a new card.
