Hi. It's a long time since I've posted here. I am looking for a handicam these days and I ned opinion. It's about their media, I mean should I go for DV or DVD??? My friend told me that DV cameras have better result of the DV tape, and you can store in amy format you like, DV tapes are also re-usable for a long time, and it allows access to the PC as well using USB. He told me that buying DVD instead of DV is total waste of money. So please help me out, I want to know the advantages and disadvantages of both, and which will be suitable for purely home use.
