help me on selling dicision!!!

Hey guys, so I got offered 550$ to sell my gigabyte hd 5970.. honestly I cant decide, sell and get gtx 580, or sell and wait for 699.. , or sell and get crossfire? or gtx 590? that duel gpu one .. I never had problems with my 5970 I am using 10.12 and everything runs smooth and without problems... oh i play BC2, ut3 I been playing witcher , all those games uses both gpus at 99% .. ah confused to sell it or keep it?

 

sell now because that is the best offer you will ever get n then get a 580 or 2 6970'd for crossfire

 

Sell and wait for the 6990/590, or sell and get 2x 6950/70's, as a 580 would be a downgrade.

 

I'd sell it and see how the 6990 and 590 cards look.

 

just a note, amd has GARBAGE linux support but it is sloooowwwly gettin better. I can now start starcraft 2 and get to the main menu now but there is no ingame.

bye bye gigabyte 5970 its gone.. now I am using his 4870 lol!!!!1 what a downgrade , I have to wait now for new 595 or 6990 or go crossfire 6950.. options... I hope this ati 4870 plays bc2 or jc2

 

That 4870 should handle BC2 just fine until you get a replacement.

4870 will play BC2 maxed if you forget about AA without any problems.

 

Maybe he lives in a country with high electronic imports taxes. Here a 580GTX costs around 800 usd for example.

 

I love my 4870. :cry:

I run BC2 just fine for what it's worth.

 

4870's are good cards, they may run a little hot but still can handle all new games.
