Why seem like you have no clue what monitor you actually want. You have Nvidia cards, get Gsync. As Mike suggested above, PG279Q will be a perfect choice.

You guys are suggesting a smaller monitor which cost over 250 dollars more .Yeah I do not think that's a wise move.

No one has suggested a "smaller" monitor. They have suggested better monitors.

First you went with a smaller 24inch screen, then you jump to a 34inch screen.. logic.

Monitor has arrived and its awesome. Running at double res as the standard 2560 x 1080 was a tad low but with 2 1080 ti's in dsr mode it really is amazing. And no, gsync was not something I definitely wanted, I wanted the size so the 27" for more money was a no go for me.
The logic behind it was that I needed something different and this is it :)

Oh, my girlfriend has that same AOC monitor you had previously and we had to use a refresh rate overclock tool to get it running at 144Hz over DP as her second monitor was taking up the DVI port. Worked perfectly at a high refresh over DP though.

Cheap monitor,, horrible resolution for desktop work. I need real estate. Gaming is fine, no motion blur smooth as silk. gl

Wow! Selling a 144 hz monitor that doesn't have DP to support it.

Like the chaps said, you need a DP 1.2 cable and HDMI as well. Then you should be set. gl

There's also this: Acer Predator XB271HU
This and the ASUS are both practically identical. The ASUS one has better controls but the customer service, at least in the monitors area is a nightmare,
