Well, there are a lot of "hello" threads, and new people won't know of the SPAM thread, so it isn't really expected for them to post there. Plus, I don't consider a new member saying hello as SPAM. Greetings, and welcome to Guru3D Forums. Learn lots, then pass that (accurate) knowledge onto others!
Nah, it's not that, I just hate "HAY GUYS AM NEW" threads, so I usually post a random "hate" coment just for fun. I mean what's the point? None actually cares that you are new, just go make posts that contribute to community here and you'll be welcomed quickly. We'd have a lot better forums is we were more rude to people who post pointless threads. Just my view on that....
