Think so too!
Hopefully I beat it over the weekend given its not terribly long.
It depend what kind of game you like. This game is super straightforward. You basically play it for the story.
Boredom also got to me too. Super drought after the onslaught in March 2017. Anyway, I just jump into Warframe, if you into grindy and awesome looking toys, that game is fun and FREE. You just need to pass the 20hrs mark to really enjoy the game. The first 20hrs probably make you want to quit. Stick around the reward come for those who willing to work for it.
Thanks for the review. Looking forward to starting it tonight.
The positional audio is also pretty cool, it's like they are talking in your head.... recommend using good headphones if you have them.
Finished it finally , awesome game truly one of a kind and just fantastic experience that rivals if not beat the ones Sony make exclusively for their consoles
now the ending
Just finished it myself.
A little over 8 hours to complete. I did miss a few runes, so... I guess I'll just have to play it.
But, this was phenomenal. From the lead performance as Senua, to voice acting, writing... art direction, atmosphere... sound design and music. Simply amazing. If this is what Ninja Theory will be striving for from now on... I'm definitely on board.
Also, combat, love it. While yes, a bit basic in terms of moves/weapons and such. There's a fantastic sense of weight and heft to the combat.
All your moves feel like they have a great sense of force to them, making the combat itself feel really chunky and brutal.
And, later on, with more enemy types and larger encounters... so good. Also a few great boss fights.
This is, one of the best games this game. Without a doubt.
LOL I must have stopped and started this game fifty times over the last few days.GOG says I played for 55 minutes, but I really got 20+ hrs I am slow at games.
I bet this game has many rage quitters and people wanting a refund and all I can say they are missing out on a phenomenal game.
The game is beautiful/confusing/frustrating and I want more.
One of the best games I have played and I wish my GOG/Origin/Uplay/Steam library were filled with more of these gems.
Finished Hellblade the other day and it was brilliant. Only issue i had with it was that it's set in ancient Scotland and you play a Pict. Yet not one single Scottish voice in the game. All the accents were either English or Irish.
Didn't really bother me at all and I am half Scottish. Felt pretty good that it was a Scottish settings actually.
Well..considering Sony is the only console with this game..
Not gonna lie, this game really messes with your head. This is easily my favorite game of 2017 so far.
look for the game on XBOX :infinity: running 4k/60fps
it's hard to think an UE4 game isn't on Xbox
Gears of War 4, Xbox exclusive, UE4.
But that's on PC too?
I just finished the game. Other than what's already been said, I will say this, the developers did well with the game. It draws you into the madness. Into the anger. Into the pain. Into what Senua is experiencing. Sure there are things that could have been improved (performance), but for $30 the journey was well worth it. I do mean journey, as from my perspective that's what the game was. A journey through Senua's madness, anger, and feelings of loss. To such an end that we the gamer had to accept the outcome as well.
first patch for bugs mostly , no performance fixes
Great patch notes, the only bug I noticed and it did not bother me was run toggle were not being saved between game sessions.
Very good game, now I just started on 1 of hundreds of games in my long overdue to play list,Quantum Break looks good and is fun but runs like crap unlike Hellblade.
Well game is O.K puzzles are meh and triggers weird, movement is pain very restricted and gets stuck a lot. Story seems good and combat is great.
Patch 1.02 is out, bugfixes mostly based on Steam news snippet.
