If anyone still wants a key http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-12-10-weve-got-another-2500-hearthstone-keys-to-give-away
I have officially given up on this game. It took me liek 50 tries to get past Illidan and I just don't have the patience for this game.
I managed to get past everyone else on the first attempt, except Illidan. After 10 or so attempts, I said "screw it" and stopped playing. I had never intended to run any more betas anyway so no loss on my part. According to my profile, I never opted into the beta pool for it anyway.
Been playing the beta last couple of months, its gonna be another pay to win game greedy Blizztard.....
Got a key yesterday but was unable to play it due to the problems with Bnet. Anyone know if it's fixed yet? Apparently there has been Bnet problems for a good amount of hours.
Explained here ---> http://www.penny-arcade.com/report/...-win-and-were-actually-totally-cool-with-that
Its not pay to win at all, the arena uses random cards including ones you dont have and you can earn tons of gold just by playing in the ranked mode. Ive not used real money at all and i do pretty well. I have alot of gold cards and a good few legendary cards too.
Name another game by Blizzard that's "pay to win"? D3? That completely pve focused game? I agree that Blizzard is "greedy" but labeling a corporation as "greedy" is like saying you take a dump... doesn't really say anything out of ordinary. Of course a corporation is going to be greedy. Making profit is its core focus by definition.
This actually is pay to win if you intend on playing ranked, it's just disguised. You can opt to not pay, but you'll be months behind when it comes to your deck.
Arena costs nothing to play and if you're lucky enough, you'll beat those with better decks. there's a lot of rng. no money can buy you drops.
Meaning they(Blizz) won't charge etc whilst in the testing phase. I hope everyones wrong about the paying part but the Blizz track record isn't great for this type of thing.
