I wanted to upgrade my video card...right now I still have the 9700 pro...I haven't really needed anything else...But now I want to output to HDTV and would like to know which card is the best for it (I don't want to spend over $300)....I was wondering if the X800 series of cards is the best way to go and WHICH particular card is best for this.......would appreciate the advice...thanks

Yeah I saw that...but for some reason my dvi doesn't work...I've had this card for a LONG time, since it came out.....and either way I am going to upgrade...I would just like to know which card does a really good job of outputting to HDTV.......

I use my DVI out with a DVI to HDMI cable onto my Pioneer PDP435 plasma. The new ATI CCC has settings you can tweak to make the picture fit

It all works pretty well and picture quality is pretty amazing (especially for DVDs).
