Out of curiosity would you do the same for a 10TB SSD?
Ive been running raid 0 ssds since 2009 and never lost any data
...anything to protect the porn. AT ALL COST!
And seriously, i doubt we will see those SSD capacities anytime soon. And if, it will be aimed at big corporations not typical home user.
I believe cushions of air (or in this case, a gas) are necessary so the head does not crash into the platter and remains hovering above it a few nanometers (?) away.
Yea possibly, would make sense
Nice all the storage space one would need
Enought to store 1 percent of all cat pics from the internet.
It's high time manufacturers started using TiB instead. With 10TB, you'd only be getting around 9.1 terabytes so that's almost 1 terabyte less!
The gap will only widen in the future with 12TB giving 10.9 terabytes, 24TB giving 18.1 terabytes and 48TB giving 43.7 terabyte. Stop this now before more kittens are lost :bang:
You can just cut down on masturbating.
He's got a point though. Down the line there's going to be less knowledgeable customers (you know, those people who know what a "Gigabyte" is somewhat but are by no means technical) ranting and raging about disk space.
