HDD 5900 vs 7200 durability

    That's basically my doubt, it's for mass storage so either would be OK but I am wondering if the 5900 will last longer.
    Will be buying a Seagate 2TB hard and either are the same price here.

    You will find the 5900 rpm drive MUCH slower in all spects than a 7200 rpm drive.

    They should last about as long.

    I was reading the 5900 rpm drives seem to have a high failure rate.
