I've had my hd 7990 for awhile, and it seems like i've been having low fps on any high end games or mmorpg games. Thief, BF4, Crysis, Assassin Creed. some times it'll just drop to 10 ~ 20 fps. My CPU's Intel Core i7-3820, i've kind of gotten sick of AMD's drivers. If i couldn't fix the problem I'm switching to Nvidia.

What temperatures are you getting while gaming? Which drivers have you tried? What's cpu usage like when gaming? What PSU is it, 850+ ain't enough info? Windows 7/8/8.1 x86/x64?

Are you really running 34GB of RAM (4x8GB + 2x1GB)?

What speed is your RAM running at? timings?

What speed is your CPU running at? With a good cooler, 4.6-4.8Ghz is pretty easy with a 3820.

Do you have the power options set to performance and also to keep the CPU at 100% all the time? If not, the CPU speed could be jumping around while gaming.

How many processes are running in the background?

What is your CPU usage when no programs are running?

    What OS are you running?

What AntiVirus and/or AntiMalware programs are you running?
