Check a few posts back for a VG248QE review link.

Vsync is kind of meaningless in many situations @ 120Hz.Tearing is just about eliminated and VSync-off stutter is pretty low once you're cranking 80-90fps+.

As long as you play games that can crank such high FPS, its good to take advantage of 120Hz (disregarding the fact that they're all 1080p TN for branded monitors).

Having stutter? Set refresh rate to 60Hz,VSync on, FPS cap, there you go.

Yes but if i do "Having stutter? Set refresh rate to 60Hz,VSync on, FPS cap, there you go" than what's the point to have a 120 hz monitor??

Why set monitor to 60hz? that would just be a waste of a 120hz monitor... You dont need 120fps to enjoy a 120hz display.. Even running the games @120hz but with 60fps is MUCH better than running 60hz @60fps

So no dont switch a 120hz to 60hz but lower the frame rate from 120fps to something that the games keeps a stable frame rate 80, 70, 60fps.
