    Hi

So far with the new beta Ive noticed that powerplay doesnt work, it just stays at 3d clocks and disables the power slide thing in ccc.

I understand that there is difficultys getting msi cards to russia in order to get them working but I thought since all cards are reference boards maybe the guru3d lot could pitch in with info if thats cool with mods here?

Ive got a bit of info on the cards but if someone wants to help with getting the right kind of info for AB team I reckon it would be good for everyone if AB team will allow?.

Use search and don't unlock unofficial overclocking if you have no ideas what to expect from it please. We've more than clearly declared the following when introducing the unofficial overclocking mode:

    - Added configuration file switch allowing power users to unlock unofficial
overclocking codepath in AMD display drivers (similar to AMDGPUClockTool,
ATITool and RivaTuner overclocking implementation on AMD graphics cards).
Unlike AMD's official ADL SDK overclocking ways, unofficial ones are not
limited with CCC clock limit but have some alternate disadvantages (e.g.
    PowerPlay support limitation)

Please take a note that unofficial overclocking methods are not supported
either by AMD or by MSI, so unlock and use it at your own risk

So it is not a latest beta issue, it is your understanding issue and it WILL NOT change with future releases. Do I have to hide it more deeply and protect with dynamic passoword and shared passwords with true power users only to make you, guys, think and read prior to unlocking it? Honestly, I'm even really close to removing the unofficial overclocking path at all.

    Alex, don't remove it :(:(
Then those of us who are responsible users will be punished...

If people want powerplay, they should just use CCC....or set different profiles....or heck, they can flash their bios when modded clock bioses get posted...

I like your tool and never had issue with powerplay on my 5870 and I use all my software and hardware responsibly, Im sorry but it seems everytime Ive ever posted on your bit 'ere your mouthy, it seems a wonder how anyone gets through to you when all you ever do is say 'use search' an 'your lack of understanding' or 'get some thread reading skills'.
Buddy, I really dont care, I can go to the store tommorow and grab something else that works with someother software OC tool, I just couldnt help thinking people wanted some good OC with their graphics cards and thought here would be a great place to start asking questions since MSI are supposed to be pretty good in that department. Thanks for turning me away from MSI cards for life, I cant let myself buy into rude corporations.

Password protect whatever you want, someone else will just make something better with no such protection, its the way of the interwebs.

Traditional and sadly expected form of attacking self-defence of the next documentation hater. Heh. Fun thing, you could easily address everything with simple "My bad, I missed this info again". Anyway, each of us is choosing his way to go himself.

Probably that's because it is the second post from you during the last couple of days when you report things widely documented before of even answered a few posts above yours?

First, I'm not a corporation employee and not doing my work here. Second, that's entirely your choice and you're free to search for something better with no protection. But please be completely fair and remove Afterburner software from your HDD. Wish you luck with HIS software at HIS forum.

    Edit:
Just refreshed my memory and recalled that you already have a histoy of drunk trolling about "Search is useless" in this forum subsection in the past. There will be no second chance this time, now you're in my list of forum troublemakers for life.

im not a trouble maker unwinder but in the past I agree fully that Ive been here drunk and posting garbage (not just this subforum) and I am ashamed, a little time has gone by and since a babys on the way Ive knocked drink on the head properly and life is peachy. Im saying this just to clarify to you Im not trolling in any way unwinder and this is no attempt to annoy whatsoever, if you look at the first post I was being polite and was just hoping to get some heads having a go at getting the voltage slider working, the unofficial overclocking thing I just confused it with the voltage, thats what I was supposed to convey, sorry.
We obviously dont get along very well but I do wish you all the luck in the world and so far AB IS the best overclocking software in the world and I thank you for the privelege of using it since it came out. I lol'ed at the HIS reference :)
thanks for a second chance, I wont post unless sure next time, I feel Pwned haha

please don't remove the unofficial overclocking feature, has that would be unfair on users that need/use the feature everyday...

you could add a popup warning or something instead.
