    Good morning!

I just got a 5 month old Sapphire HD4850 from a friend of mine who went for a GTX285.

Problem is it won't work. :bang:
The PC boots but I get no signal to the monitor. I put some old PCI-card into it to see wether the ATI-card is found, but there's just nothing. ATI driver says it found no GPU.
Btw. the LEDs on the card are not lit and the 12v rail is absolutely stable, so I believe there's no problem with my PSU.

The card worked in my friends PC before I got it. And I want to put it into the system on the left.

    Thanks for any help.

Edit: Just tried it again and found out I forgott one thing: The Mainboard beeps "Cannot find VGA". Which surely doen't ease my mind... :(

Edit2: Found it! I removed the cooler and cleaned the GPU when I saw one of the Resistors looked strange. Well no wonder the card doesn't work R1618 is loose and was connected to its neighbour. Well, one problem solved, Some money saved :p
