Hello, I bought a HD 7950 Vapor X 3GB graphics card and I have a problem with connecting to the Corsair VX 550W power supply. The graphics card needs 8 + 8 pin power supply. And the power supply has only 6 + 8 Pin.

Buy an adapter or replace the power supply with a larger one with 8 + 8 pin?

I would try to run it anyway. From my memory, the Vapor X 7950 came with either 6+8 or 8+8 pins, there were 2 variants of it. I had the 8+8, back in the day. Most were 6+8 and I think the reference ones were 6+6.

I used my 280x with an two 8 pin with an 6+8 pin and worked just fine. Run it anyway like @metagamer said.

No... just plug in 6+8. You shouldn't have any issues.
