There is no official driver yet that supports youre card, guys correct me if im wrong here? So I guess you need to find a modified driver that supports it, or use the CD that came with the card?
Have you uninstalled all the previous nVidia drivers..? Install the lastest motherboard chipset drivers, reboot and try again. If all else fails, do a clean install of windows and see if that helps.. Also, have you tried to install through device manager..?
The drivers that you download from AMd website is a revised version of the 9.10, so in all fareness, they do work..
Yes, and then restarted. Maybe I'll try the Driver Remover program. Yes, still no go. GIGABYTE GA-EX38-DS4 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128089 Yes, the driver seemed to work when installing like this, but I'm getting 90fps in Day of Defeat Source on pretty low settings.
No matter what people say Cats 9.10 do not support the 5770. You have to use the ones here http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/ATIRadeonHD5800seriesrecommendedgraphicsdriver.aspx. I was annoyed at first when I would have to wait until official 9.11 to get some real drivers ><
So, if the 9.11 drivers arent out yet and these are definatly not the betas.. What exactly are they..? 9.10.. Obviously! So then, no matter what you say "Cats 9.10 does indeed support 5770"
Not to break anyones heart or anything, but those drivers dont work for me. I suppose I need to do a full removal of the nvidia drivers, could be causing issues.
Go to programs and features, uninstall .net framework, go find it from somewhere, 2.0 or higher, reinstall it, then install your drivers. Alternatively, uninstall the video card drivers via device manager while in safe mode, reboot, attempt to install drivers again.
for me the only way to install display drivers is via safe mode, device management.ati installation program is utterly useless.highly dissapointed with ati.
The drivers on the disk that came with my 5770 did not work, the ones I downlaoded from ATI did not work, both CCCs would crash before the install, I had to wipe / reinstall, then I had no problems with the drivers at all
Don't you think, since the vast majority of people install their drivers just fine, that it's some kind of incompatibility/corruption on your computer? Why would that be ATI's fault?
cause i never had this problem with nvidia and some ati cards that i used long ago.anyways i hope its fixed in catalyst 9.11.but only this thinking (has my card a problem ,whats wrong, and after 4 installs of win 7) is enough to give you a very bad taste about the company ,especially since i turned again to ati after 4 years. ps i still believe that the 5xxx cards are 1st quality cards
