    Stuttering.

Was never present in past drivers, but since 355 > , there is persistent stuttering in games. Just ruins it.

Going back to AMD next time. (mainly because of Nvidias shady business practices, but my old 290x was WAY smoother then the GTX970 I have now.)

Just played through the first chapter ...no issues. It runs very well. Windows 10 x64 and 358.50 drivers.

I have no issues with any stuttering in any games, never had. In fact I have no issues with any games. Everything just works. I did have lots of issues the last time I had an AMD graphics card, though. So I'm staying with nvidia.

OK, so from what I've see many issues are mainly happening on recent driver with win10, it's new OS so it will take some times.

But how the F BLTPS Physx performance are so low in all drivers, besides 355.84? i emailed nvidia but the issue, but not optimistic.

That weird, i have a friend with 290x and 970, 970 eats it alive, it way way smoother than 290x in all games...

doesnt AMD still have opengl fps issues compared to nvidia.

I remember when when I had my 5870 in my system, I had to use old opengl drivers to run opengl games.

I know I read when wolfenstein new order was release. people with AMD had some issues.

    and does AMD have autoscaling?

I could never get scaling correct.

I never had that problem with nvidia.

never had much issues with drivers.

on windows 10, I do. but I expected that. I even tell people that are upgrading to windows 10. that there are issues with drivers.

and it not just nvidia drivers that are having issues. other devices are having issues as well.

windows 10 is like vista with bad driver support.

I been trouble shooting peoples computer sense it came out.

Agree, I´ve never seen so many new games with stuttering issues. Witcher 3 (mostly fixed by deleting nvidia´s own apex dll) but still, GTA V (had stuttering issues after half an hour of play -took them like 6 months to fix-), Leo´s Fortune (no fix), F1 2015 (heavy stuttering if you ever dare to restart a race -old 353.49 fixes it-) occasional ctd because of memory error (happens on some 980 systems as well), NBA 2k15 (annoying eternal stuttering when moving from one side of the field to the other -no fix yet-), Soma (stuttering disaster -no definitive workaround yet-), MotoGP15 (had stuttering even on high end maxwell. Mostly fixed by later drivers, still took them like 6 months to do it), WRC5 (stuttery/jittery when using vsync -prerender frames to 1 helps, but still there-), Mortal Kombat X (stuttery during matches, playing flash stream on background fixes it), Arkham Knight (devs said stuttering was related to systems with nvidia gpus and 8gb of ram), Pinball FX2 (stuttering because of super sampling -it was no problem in older drivers like 347.XX-)...

Seriously nvidia, amd starts to look like my next option.

Ps.- And I´m still on win7, so it´s obviously not related to win10.

BF3 and BF4 are the same for me averaging 190 FPS. Both Firestrike and 3DMark11 scores increased except for PhysX scores in Firestrike. The only issue I've had was Borderlands PreSequel crashing with a TDR-117 error yesterday after someone at EVGA complained about Borderlands 2 constantly crashing with these 358.50 drivers. This was the very first ever TDR playing the PreSequel for me.

I've bought my GTX960 in July, installed every WHQL drivers from 355.30 (or whatever it was back then) to 358.50, no issues at all.

Sell that card, it´s getting discontinued already so game and driver support is gonna start to lack sooner than expected.

I heard that 2GB version is getting discontinued, 4GB version is not, so why would I sell it? GPU is the same.
And 2 gigs of VRAM will be enough for the next year or two, I guess. Some AAA games would require lowering texture detail to medium or something, but whatever.

Maxwell card support is getting discontinued sooner than later? How did you arrive at that conclusion?

nVidia thinks that discontinued 2GB will make 4GB version faster? Make a 960ti for god sake, card is a joke.

    Eh?

I doubt there's going to be a 960ti to be honest, the 970 isn't that much more expensive and is the next logical upgrade path anyway.

I don't think this is a driver problem, more of a Gearbox can't code for more than 2 CPU cores problem. Check your CPU usage with PhysX enabled in BLTPS and you'll probably find that one core is hitting 100% usage bogging down the entire system.

Pretty much every driver has been fine for me since the dreaded black screen of doom was fixed.

    Everything's running smoothly.

It is a driver issue, fact it happens in all recent 355.XX version but not on 355.84, usage all the same.

The GPU usage drop heavily with all those driver, besides 355.84, not many play TPS with PhysX or at all, so the issue wasn't noticed as others.

Maybe it is a driver issue, from the day of launch I've never been able to run BLTPS at acceptable frame rates with PhysX enabled, same with BL2, CPU usage on those games is terrible.
