You need a new PSU? or can you just get an adaptor and get away with using just 2 x 8 pins.

    3 x 8 pin should be enough, 3 x 150w + 1 x 75w from PCI-E = 525w

'' it wasn't until early January that we got a glimpse of the company's huge intentions for the RTX 30 enthusiast sector''

I fear the whole RTX 30 series is just for enthusiast, thanks to its pricing :p

" Because the specifics of the situation are not yet known, it is unknown "

Well, I'm glad that it's not known/unknown twice.

Let's hope that they fix the issues and then we won't be able to buy one.

they'll be using some of less functional ga103 dies for 3060ti's.
it does not matter though,as long as gpus are money printing machines.
the only way is to gimp blockchain performance without gimping the specs for gamers.

They're very avid listeners, it's just that they prefer a different genre these days.

Better margins on the 3090 Ti. Use your wafer allocation on that. Give the peasants old RTX 2060s with $30 of more VRAM taped on.

I wonder if many Ampere crash reports are actually caused by faulty hardware leaving factories. Is Nvidia badly understaffed when it comes to properly designing and testing electric components other than ASICs? Bad news don't stop since exploding 2080 Tis...

Since 2080Tis? Right. I guess the reference GTX 570 VRMs exploding wasn't a thing. Or Fermis outright overheating even with AIB custom cooling solutions.

More likely to occur with AIBs as they try to use cheaper, minimal spec components while at same time factory overclocking the cards.

He aint wrong tho, as bad as that is. Problem is systemic, its not just the GPU's. Im not saying we should all become socialists overnight but a rethinking is in order. Capitalism was designed in the 18th century, everything has come a long way since then.

Funny, I'm getting exactly these vibes when looking at AMD's current turbo capitalist product line-up that only includes crap or nothing for less wealthy customers...

Ferrari, Lamborghini and Rolls Royce only make expensive cars.

Nvidia has... sorry HAD a wide range of products for all wealth ranges. They seem to have changed to a brand only selling to the rich and famous.

Henry Cavill approves your message since he has a 3090 LMAO.

Another example from a different perspective then, if you CAN choose between 10000usd/hour vs 10usd/hour working contract, would you ever ever pick the later out of kindness of your heart?

Nvidia employees have voted Nvidia is the best US company to work for, this is capitalism at its finest.
