After reading so much posts about the 6600GT AGP I was scared because I ordered one. Now that I get it I am really happy with it. I experienced some problems only with NFSU2...but I think newer driver or patching the game will solve the problem.

Today I have started playing Riddick and wow at 1024x768 and everithing on high the game runs smoth...and I muswt say one of the best games I ever played...like system shock2 some time ago!

So for people wanting to know, you would recommend Club3D 6600GT AGP?

Happy for you...it was probably just the first batches of 6600GT chips & cards that were screwed up...and when they release some new bioses and drivers it will probably be sweet card.

Lesson is, do not buy any first revisions of newly released products...

Good news for you just wish I could say the same. So far the 6600GT is the most unreliable card I have ever owned.

Just got my PNY 6600GT installed!
    It's amazing!

Every game I throw at it runs perfectly.

Throw another 512 MB of RAM in that setup and it will run the games better than ever.

Yes. It was the firs 6600gt available in my country but I never heared befor of Club3D so I have asked here around if any one knows anything about this card maker. I get positive answers so I decided to order one and now I am really happy with it. I must say that I was also surprised with the package!

also planning to get a GT myself, but only Palit and Inno3D are available in our place, ive been hearing bad things in the past for Inno3D, but they are improving quite a bit when they sealed a partnership with coolermaster...hopefully, anyone had an idea how good palit is?

First time that I hear Palit. For Inno I and one of my friends have their cards and were total catastrofe!

I've had a few glitches with Chronicles of Riddick (I need to play with AA and AF both to full or both to null for the game to work, no settings in between will). Battle for Middle Earth runs flawlessly except when AA and AF are set to full but this is normal since the BFME game doesn't support settings that high, so no differences would be noticeable anyways. HL2 runs flawlessy with all graphic settings pumped up to the max! I'm really happy with this card up to now!! NOTE: When I upgraded to the VIA 4 in 1 driver v4.55 from 4.49, I experienced problems. Returning to v4.49 solved them, not sure if it was a simple coincidence...

Fantastic card, very much worth it for the price!

EEK! I ordered the XFX version of the 6600GT today. After reading lots of reviews it sounded good, but now I see that many people are having issues with it :-/

Hopefully mine works fine. I will recieve it in 1-2 days.
