Can't help it that MS has a shitty online service.
While Windows LIVE was problematic, I have had zero issues with the service as far as login and user name goes.
While I have issues with the Win10 store, I've also had zero issues with my login, account and any other such related topics.
Looks like i managed to recover my locked MS Account.
(didn't had a phone at the time, which was needed as they had to send an SMS)
I wonder how many people reinstalled the old PC port of HALO when this was announced.
I remember when the Ultimate Edition of Gears was announced for PC, there were tons of people talking about re-installing the old PC port of Gears.
I still have my PC copy of Halo 1.
I still have my PC copies of Halo 1 and 2.
I can't get over how bad Halo 5 is.
Trust me, you don't want that game in MCC. The game is pure garbage.
The series is better split. Halo 5 is that bad. Halo 5 not existing at all is even better.
Halo 5 not existing on PC is doing people a favor by keeping from wasting their time and money.
I hope they do something about XBL, since they'll be using it on PC. I get 266ms ping (in Dubai) in Settings under xbox networking. Obviously that's not an acceptable ping if I were to try online.
halo is so freaking old, from a time at which there were much less competition than now on the gaming market.
Really wonder how it'll all turn out.
This is a surprise, and just in the middle of my decision on whether to get a X1X since nowadays i need a console as well as a PC. Probably still get it though.
The fact it will be on Steam is irrelevant to me. It's just a store, and one that i dislike more and more everyday and my recent testing of the Windows Store has gone really well.
Looking forward to these, i've only ever played the original game on the original Xbox and while i did have 3 i only ever played it online.
In regards to the multiplayer aspect of the series I am going to have to say it's probably going to turn out very good for the series as a whole, with the release of the ElDewrito Mod "aka" Halo Online's extreme popularity upon release and Microsoft's haphazard rush to shut down anyone Streaming the mod on Twitch or posting video's of it, in a way that showed them that there is still people on PC waiting for more Halo games and I am willing to bet that is what sparked Microsoft to work towards properly releasing the Halo games on PC.
Halo MCC won't need Windows 10 ~!~!~!
Hell, i'll give it a shot for sure, heard a lot of great things about the Halo serie but never got to play one, or maybe one MP round a long time ago.
If this becomes a fortnight launcher exclusive I will legitimately rage.
Some cool images~
Including this for the Halo PC Pillars.
More in the article.
It's quite a lengthy one covering what they're working on, goals such as the pillars here and then also the insider status for testing among others.
(I just quoted this one part here about the settings and features.)
Say what you will, they're putting serious effort into this.
While waiting lets re-re-watch the best Halo.... I mean... best video game trailer ever made.
I've lost count the amount of times I've watched that lol.... dammnit... I want halo 3 so bad.
Seeing as The Master Chief collection already has a Steam page I'm not as worried.... but still...
It this ends up being yoinked as an exclusivity deal.. I'm probably going to lose my cool.
Actually... having thought about it for a bit I can't see it happening, it would make so many people angry that I don't think Microsoft want that sort of negative reaction.
@KissSh0t : Honestly, I wouldn't bet on Halo getting Epic exclusive and if it does then there is zero logic in it. They still have their own store to consider and the reason why they'll put it out on Steam is to avoid another Quantum Break fail. Steam still has the biggest player base and I doubt they want to make the same mistake as other publishers have done so far by only selling on EGS.
Edit - Wow, the trailer you showed, I haven't see it before. Really epic!
It shouldn't surprise anyone that Epic would want Halo and more importantly, not on steam. It would be pretty funny to watch if MS and Epic pretty much destroy the goodwill earned with the original announcement if they go through with this. I'll check out halo when/if it releases on steam but I won't bother with epic exclusivity or the MS store (lol uwp) as both are deal breakers for me.
Tim Sweeney's like a child with a billion dollars though lol. I can't wait to see what he does in the android scene next year. What a retard.
