You mean the voltage jumping around? Yeah I hope so, i'm honestly thinking its some weird software issue in Sapphire trixx. Its such a piece of **** program anyway. Or its because sapphire uses a different voltage regulator which is why I can't set the voltage in MSi AB.

more likely whatever you are measuring it with.

kinda known, Vcore and GPU usage is irratic with current tools.

GPU-Z goes all over the place, HWinfo64 same thing and Aida64 also.

The thing is when its not actually under load it reports the correct voltage I set it at in trixx which just baffles me.

    yeah.

its some nonsense with the bus being polled to often and reporting nutty results.

Although i was under the impression it was limited to GCN1.2.

You appear to have GCN 1.0

    LOL Dude.

    1) RadeonPro doesn't work for you in Dragon Age because I BET you don't even check in the bottom right of the program if the 64bit module is running.

    2) Double Vsync WORKS.

    3) All of the above.

In case anyone needs legit info, the Double Vsync option in RadeonPro, DOESN'T work with a frame limiter.

If you enable the frame limiter, you get NORMAL Vsync.

I like this topic. Not necessarily the tone of some of the posts, but asking for a proper 1/2 refresh rate feature that works as intended and with all games (DX9 included) shouldn't be considered 'trolling'. The tone, well. I'll leave that up to the community.

    Hey Shakyor!

You might want to try out SpecialK ( https://steamcommunity.com/groups/SpecialK_Mods ), as I heard this tool should also be able to force frame rates at 1/2 refresh rate/double vsync. Never tried it myself, so I'm not sure about the side effects (if any).

GeDoSaTo is also able to force frame rates at 1/2 refresh rate/double vsync, but it's a bit heavy on the CPU for some reason (might have changed now - been a while since I last tried it).

Sorry I can't be of any more assistance. Good luck and let us know what you find out!
