I am surprised that it is as well optimized as it is.

 

thats because that is an old build game
it has been presented in e3 06, which was long long time ago.
plus, these screens came out less then a week ago, so you can expect improvements. At least this game offers more then any other exclusive pc game coming anywhere near this. The scale, the graphics, the dragons, the gameplay.

 

basically they nicked the whole game from Panzer dragoon saga on the saturn. for those that havent played it it features - a dragon, huge world to fly around in and explore (spanning 4 disks), at the time the graphics were amazing. so i wouldnt really say that - and also how exactly do you know this is a good game? you havent even played it! so your quote is well and trully up the wall.

WTF? Those videos of Lair posted by boodikon look rubbish! It looks nothin like the pics posted earlier; I hate the way Sony do this, they post out amazing pics but when we actually see the game it looks about half as good. I would say it comes close to false advertising if they were saying that those pics were in-game.

I'm pretty sure they did the same thing with PS2. At least with the PC you know what your getting and avoid all the lies made by console manufacturers to sell their poduct only to be let down when you get it. I remember I got the PS2 on the UK releases date and was sooo let down!

 

why dont you buy it? i was unfortunate enough to experience the xbox version - im not going to make the same mistake twice. so what if theyv added stuff - still doesnt make it a good game.

 

nah, i already tried the Xbox version, and this game isn't my cup of tea... so I won't be buying Jade Empire anytime soon (unless I'm really bored)

Looks damn similar to KOTOR, IMO.

NWN2 looks way better if you have a good computer.. then again NWN2 is based on a new engine, while JE's engine is 2 years old.

It may not look like much by looking at the screenshots (just like KOTOR doesn't), but when you're actually playing it, it doesn't look half bad.

 

Looks pretty nice I think.

Wanna see it in widescreen too, guess i'll have to wait for it to come out here for that :/

 

yeah it doesn't look half bad, it's not stunning or anything but still very nice looking. and one thing i found interesting is that these game has veeeery large file count, so it takes almost 7gb hdd space and u get almost 1000 folders and almost 40 000 files O_O and yeah it has very much talking and talking and talking and talking, i have played this for about 45min and i'm so close to throw my mouse in to the wall or something >_< but when u fight it's great
