    Here you go scoutingwraith,
You can modify the resolutions by going into the Settings.cfg file under the \Documents and Settings\All Users\[Shared] Documents\Monolith Productions\FEAR directory. You can edit these files using a text editor like notepad, however back them up before making any changes just to be safe.

You can assign a custom resolution by editing these lines in the Settings.cfg file.
    "ScreenWidth" "1280"
    "ScreenHeight" "1024"

Before setting a custom resolution, first go into the Options menu in FEAR and set the Display options you want (Except for the res). Next, close the game and Edit the lines above - change the ScreenWidth to the pixel width of the custom resolution you desire, and the same for ScreenHeight.

After restarting the game your custom resolution will be applied, but don't go back into the display settings screen in the in-game options as this will reset your resolution to one of the default resolutions. To check your new resolution go to Performance>Advanced Video Options and check the 'Screen Resolution' setting which should display the new resolution.

Sometimes you need to go through all the advanced graphics settings after you modify the above file because they sometimes reset (in game graphic settinsg). Last but not least if you accidently reset the resolution you just changed by useing the in-game settings just go back and reset the "settings.cfg" file or make it "Read only". Good luck man.

Oh yeah, is anyone here able to play BF2 half-way decently with only 1GB of RAM? I installed the game for the first time recently but I'm struggling with lots of studdering. I guess I'll have to just lower the game settings enough so that I'm able to play without problems (bummer). With that said does anyone know what settings will be most important to lower so that my limited RAM amount will be sufficent? Thanks for the help guys as I really want to try this game out!

Heh, sure, this is my current character (the third one already, a level 32 Berserker)

@Copey, yes I'm using mods. The ones you can see in the screens are Immersive Interface and Qarl's texture packs. On top of that around 70 other mods at the moment.

I'm also curious to see how my laptop <<<---- will be doing in Oblivion (800x600 and some HDR I hope)

Lol, your frame rates are good. Cinema movies are at 26fps and HD video is at 24fps. Your getting at least double that, likely on a high res.
Oblivion would probably murder my system even though it handles most other modern games fairly well.
