The May edition of the Guru3D Rig of the 2017 is here. The turn goes to Bertrand who built his own customized PC. The man does like his glass of fine wine alright, in fact so much he designed a modded PC all based on that passion of his, wine.... Guru3D Rig of the Month - May 2017
So you can drink and game. Is one allowed to drink while gaming? What if the game police come a-knocking?
This would look really cool in or near a bar area it looks more like room decor than it does a pc and I mean that in a good way.
Ha, not my cup of tea nor my glass of wine, but I can appreciate the uniqueness and the amount of work you put into this rig! There's definitely a good dose of humour involved with that rig, and I see it as a novelty light-hearted joke item more than anything else. Kudos on a truly unique design!
Cheers to the builder ! I am more a Bougorgne than a Bordeaux, but hey, Champagne for the build ! :cheers
I think this is my favorite build to date. I very much like the uniqueness of it. There's also a bit of recycling involved in the design with the use of wine bottles.
At first when looking at the thumbnail I was like "oh great another boring 'look how much money I have!' build" but after seeing the larger images to look at the theme and details, I think this is really cool and unique. Good job, and well deserving of the prize! Also, when was the last time an AMD build got featured RotM? I understand hardware specs don't really matter but it's interesting to see a change for once.
The underlying hardware shouldn't be a determining factor in RotM. The overall design of the system is the important part. If you want to see an AMD system featured....get to work. You really can't complain, if you're not putting in the effort to get one featured.
