The July 2019 Rig Of The Month is called Hi-Fi PC, and you'll understand why it has been named like that after you see it. A retro build that makes use of pre Millenium Stereo equipment. It might not... Guru3D Rig of the Month - July 2019
Coolest ROTM yet. Massive kudos to you Božo, all you need now is a nice long hidden display cable and some wireless peripherials.
Came here to say the same thing. My favorite PCs are the ones that are far from conventional. Aside from the radio tuner, is there anything not used? It's kinda hard to tell based on the things listed and the photos. I wonder if you could use the radio tuner for a manual overclock. It might be a little gimmicky, but, I think it'd be a real riot to open up CPU-Z and see your CPU go from 3.88GHz to 4.08GHz when you rotate the dial from 88-108MHz. Nobody else could say their PC does that.
Ah, the ultimate sleeper PC Do any of the knobs and switches do anything PC-wise? It would be cool to flip a switch and turn on the PC or turn a knob to control fans.
This is wicked cool. Totally my aesthetic, wood and copper and old HiFi. I was hoping the knobs would be functional, and they delivered.
The nice thing is most of those parts should be easy to swap out. Unlike a lot of highly-custom mods, there's nothing especially tricky about the way this one is set up.
That is true, cause these are all classical components... and since motherboard is EATX, I can really fit anything inside once I decide to upgrade.
Sick modding here mate. I love the way you use this hi-fi equipment to be part of your pc or was it the other way around! And of course the Noctua fan is cool, still with it's color and also the colors of the graphics card wow, respect!
This is how my whole setup actually looks like in every day use. - my wireless keyboard died on me few days ago so thats why that crappy Genius kbd is there
