It is time for the February edition of the Guru3D Rig of the Month. This months build originates from Paris - France where 42 years old Triptyk has a build called .. “Hoth”. Check ... Guru3D Rig of the Month - February 2016
Thank you weasel. Between work and IRL stuff it took me 1 week to finished it. It felt like a month tho. It came out a bit different than how I had imagined it the first time but I think it came out nice. I really like the Sentry Mesh fan controller's position. upload P.S: But the real build would be around summer or a bit after. It would be one of a kind Core P5 mod. Never been done.
Koniakki could you maybe upload another from the side a bit further i love the looks of the case just like this months winner. Its awesome to watch something totally different i might consider replacing my Obsidian750D for this case. . I hope you will show us the buildlog in the summer
I will try uploading more photos from all directions. One small note tho. As much as I like the Core P5's uniqueness, its has almost 0 airflow going on, especially compared to my previous HAF-X case. So people should expect an increase in their temps, mostly under load conditions. I think its around 5-8'C for the CPU(based on my loop) and about +10-15'C for the GPU. Those are my preliminary findings so don't blame anyone or anything. More testing is needed. But its not a big issue imo. And also the GPU should be installed 1 or 2 slot further back because under load the GPU its "choking" in its own hot exhaust air when the front panel is installed. I have seen +15'C with it on. Other than the obvious airflow issues(not complaining, its an open case of course), the case is a dream!
Hi, Thank you very much for your compliments , it's a nice reward for my work @demented brave : I found that the cooler of the 980 TI HOF fit very well with this black & white theme , so I left the original, but I think integrate a waterblock in the loop in few weeks
I like the look of the components and watercooling work for sure, but I really don't care for this open thermaltake chassis.. just looks stupid imo. Nice work though, no doubt about it!
GREAT rig and very beautiful! This colors to me are the best theme for a rig... with the blue led is perfect! Congratulations man!
