The way I see it there'll be maybe a handful of updates of AS SSD and CDM over the next 2 years so upgrading to the latest version will be fine. We'll still have a few months of testing between revisions of these apps so we'll be able to monitor the performance no matter what.

Back from Taiwan / Computex, sorry for the late reply.

I am fine with using the updated software here, just as long as everybody then moves onto the same software so that things can be compared with each other.

So here's my update, the SSD is used for Windows 8.1 and 2 games (so far) - GTAV and Witcher 3. I still haven't gotten around to tweak my new mobo, since I guess the speed of the SSD could be a bit better comparing to others here.

Update for June, we've been getting ready for a move here, so I haven't much in the way of installing or transferring data this month. I updated to the most current version of the software this time around. ;)

Aye, going strong indeed. It may be imagination, but this is the first of 8 or so different SSDs that actually feels faster then the others I've worked with personally.

This month my PC was upgraded to the Windows 10 preview, after testing it with my regular storage HDD i decided to bite the bullet and put it on the main SSD drive to give myself a month to get used to it before full release. Everything transferred just fine and there was zero issues regarding the SSD and the upgrade process, no extra games have been installed this month but the SSD is now my primary OS and gaming drive from now - no more games are getting installed to my storage HDD, its now just for media/music/pics etc.

i just love having all my games on the SSD, i don't think i can every go back to having them on a HDD.

    Update for month 3:

    Benchmarks:

The only real change seems to be the 4K-64 write result in SSD Benchmark. Everything else is roughly the same. I got a notably lower score than last time in the 4K-64 write test so I thought it might be an anomaly. I redid the benchmark and the result was still a chunk lower than the previous month's benchmark.

Edit: Everyone is not on the same page in terms of software. I thought everyone was going to update to CDM 4.0.3. We need to all agree on what version we're going to use while it's still early.

Correct you are, i still think its nice to have benchmarks matching what software you started with, so you can compare your own results over time - but i will now do the same i started with and a latest build tests (updated now).

The drive is performing as well as on day one, zero issues with it so far. My games partition [D:] is 380gb and I've already installed 300gb of games on it. The OS partition [C:] is 100gb and still have plenty of space left there.

Both OS and games are performing great, very happy with the drive.

Blimey you guys do write a lot, Noisiv like 5 TB ... ? :nerd:

Other then that, all looks rock-solid you guys. I'll post up a snippet on the frontpage this week. Perhaps I'll do that once and focus on one of the test panel members.

Just making sure to put the SSD through the ringer matey :D (not really, just using it normally), i thought i was leading the pack in writes but Noisiv came along and obliterated me in that field :bang:

It is neat to see all these SMART screenshots side by side. You can really see who has a nice, stable system vs who has power management issues, driver mismatches, or stability crashes. Just look at how some have 0-2 unplanned power loss and how some have 20+.

Cheers to the pros with none (or just a couple)!
