Tx Cowie ;) ,I am hoping for someone to brake that FSB record of 621 on my Asus P5Q-Deluxe so that i can overclock my Biostar TPower I45 to some insane FSB over 650 :D , P45 its the king of high FSB.

Heres a quick run at 570 on the Biostar , not max FSB but Max overclock on E8600 on Dice.

Biostar TPower i45 @ 570.37Mhz FSB (Bus Speed) Rated FSB (2281.5)
North Bridge Cooling - AIR Vantec Tornado 92mm 119CFM - TIM Replaced with MX2
    Stock Heatsink Lapped.
    Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 @ 1.78v - Cooling Kayl Rev. 2 Dice / LN2 Pot @ -71c
    Memory Team Xtreme DDR2-1200 D9GKX 512MB Single Module 5-5-5-18
    * Not Max FSB on the Board* That was for Max Validation on E8600
On this Board The Sky its the limit on the FSB :D

Christ's sake. You make me feel inferior...

Too bad the IP45 sacrifices performance for raw clock speed. (google it)

he knows a thing or two about it;)

still killer fsb anyway you look at it
i'm happy with a nv chipset running over 500fsb for 3d
this board requires many volts compared to p35/p45 thuo
the droop is very bad worst i'v ever seen real volts 1.5 load

BTW chispy our team needs a killer 05 and 01 runs, the russian team is on our heels.
dont waste the dice or ln2 on 06 with the dc:)

Try to replace the Thermal interface material on the northbrige with some MX2 or Artic Silver 5 , Also a high CFM fan directly on top of the NB helps a lot , its all down to cooling and voltages on the cpu and NB. Play with the Skew settings also.Good Luck.
