I`m really sad to read this, the logo hunt was already a small tradition of my christmas, but i can understand your point of view, it must be hard to organize such contests and then read all the complaints...

All i can say from my part, is many thanks for all the contests you created on all this years and even more thanks for the MSI GTX Duke 1080Ti i won in one of those, an amazing prize that i`m still using!

So, cheers to all Guru3d staff for the amazing work!!!

The sense of undeserved entitlement is unreal. You whiners need to give your head a shake and touch some grass.

 

I wonder how many people actually gave the "wrong" answer, or the "right" one, as it was intended by the guru3d team.

 

As someone stated, during Christmas I always find myself around here to get a chance to win something. The excitement of finding and participating in it , is the real deal.

I have been accessing GURU3D since I was a teenager and I find myself always back to it whenever there is a review or whenever I am in need of a tool , this place never disappoints.

To see people not respecting, not appreciating this competition - is sad - but it is so common these days that , I would expect them to be banned without much of a discussion.

Hope Guru3D has as much success as possible in the future so that they can do these nice gestures for this community moving forward.

 

I wouldn't take it personally, offer competitions if you want to offer them & don't worry about a few complainers, all you can do is make the instructions as unambiguous as possible and offer these yearly competitions if you still like to.

Sad to read the HH reply that its the last time. I dont count myself in the complainers camp. I just wanted to offer a solution ideas, so the confusion does not happen next time, thats it. I already got to terms I missed this one (like every year btw ) And Im sure my 2 posts here are not the reason for this competition to end... oh well...

 

There is no confusion, just people like you that dont know how to read and then cry about it.

2 post are yours and another 20 for other 10 guys/girls who cant take the L. Sh***** all over the competition and all the good vibes it creates on the forum.

Its free ffs and the guru3d team takes his time to do it for us. You cant even show some apreciation and stfu.

Why is it so hard for people to admin they made a mistake, even when admitting it will cause them no problems at all? Not winning a present is not a problem, not unless you're a 4 year old.
I, myself did not read the instructions again (even though they're probably the same all these years), got lazy and gave the wrong answer. It's a pity, but that's all it is. I'm not entitled to it, I'm not excluded, I had all the time and info in the world to be given the opportunity to win something valuable with almost no effort. And I made a mistake.
Someone will win it, and I'm sure they'll enjoy it, as I did last year.
Why on earth would you complain to someone who's putting on a lot of effort to do us a favor, and a big one for that matter?

I hope the tradition continues next year as I find the logo hunting quite fun and keeps my sanity in check(so many problems in life).
