I sadly never recieve the confirmation mail for subscribing.
Seems Ziggo straight up deletes them before they even reach the mail server.
Not even landing in the Spam folder.

I had serious trouble with the newsletter process too. Was subscribed through my Hotmail account (and getting the newsletter into the inbox), unsubscribed now but never got a confirmation. Tried to re-subscribe, but never got a confirmation. When I go to managing the subscription, it says I'm on a "Do-Not-Send" list and have to contact the administrator. Just in case I unsubscribed once again.
I then tried my GMX address again (which wouldn't work other years) and could successfully subscribe (at least I got the confirmation mail and clicked on the link, so I assume it worked). I hope that doesn't count as double entry, I don't seem to have control over my Hotmail subscription anymore.

I have the same problem as FuriousAngel.
I can't get the unsubscribe email to be sent.
I have Hotmail too.
I don't get any email for re-subscription confirmation, so suppose I'm shooting blanks
