as well as True Crime Hongkong...
They milked Guitar Hero waaaayyy too much. Music genre is there, just that their games became ****.
As for True Crime, was it because it wasn't in the States or the middle east that's why they lost interest >.>"?
I didn't like it anyway. I prefer the real thing.
i liked it , like rythem games like amplitude , guitar hero etc.
played a few games on the ps2. loved the metallica edition. im not very skilled , but its still fun imo. never seen it as a replacement to a real guitar , as its a computer game , and computer games arent realistic to start with. and im not bothered that much that it ends here .
Could be because my background is Asian, but I like DDR a lot more than band games.
Fuuuuu, i liked true crime l/
Thank God they killed Guitar Hero. Only good thing Activision (burn in hell!) has done in recent times, from what I can remember.
Now please kill CoD.
I agree so much.
I mean once Guitar Hero changed hands from Harmonix, it was all downhill from there.
I am glad to see Guitar Hero be gone once and for all, but am sad that True Crime is gone. I spent many hours playing the first one, True Crime: Streets of LA.
was fun for a while but was bound to die out
Wow.... there's someone who actually thinks the same about it as I do.
How long have you been playing for on that note?
And Guitar Hero needed to die. It just needed to.
Is it only me who reads this:
Not that I had any plans to buy those. Not a big deal to me.
Now kill off call of duty because its ****
I would give it 4 years of CODS before they saturate the market like guitar hero and get axed
nah, FPS as a genre has been going strong for a long time now and i doubt it'll suddenly just die out like guitar hero
Good. Let Rock Band take over now. They're perfectly fine and better in choice and variety by a landslide.
Rock Band is at least doing something different. That new guitar that is coming out next month looks bada$$. It's a real guitar that sends a midi signal to the game.
I might finally be able to play my guitars without waking up the neighbors. It sucks having equipment and can't really use it.
FINALLY SOMEONE HAS THE RIGHT WORDS!
But yeah, guitar hero is a waste of time. As a real musician of nearly a decade (guitar, bass, drums), it's nothing compared to the real thing. Even if it "inspires" kids to actually go and get a guitar, it'll end up getting thrown into the heap of unused toys after few months when they realise its actually hard and can't do it like the computer game.
Although it is hard, if someone handed you a guitar hero controller and told you to play on expert when you never have played the game, you wouldn't do well.
It's just getting phased out by Rock Band. I mean, the new Rock Band is gonna have a real guitar. I doubt Guitar Hero could do anything to top that.
