GTX280 stuck in 3d performance mode

    Using 177.41, card is no longer returning to 2d or low power modes, fan is also holding at 70% as a result, even after a restart.

    Ok, reinstalling the driver seems to have solved it for now, guess it's just another bug. :bang:

    It's doing it again, this is stupid, I really don't want to have to reinstall the driver daily to get 2d and power saving mode working. :bang:

    Found the cause, it's dualview, whenever I enable the second monitor it jumps to 3d performance mode.. :3eyes:

    I can verify that. 177.41 is stuck in 3D power mode with two monitors. Disable the second and into 2D mode.

    Love to see a fix for this soon.

    Can confirm it's a driver issue, as it happens on my Go 7900GTX when I use my external LCD.
