I was using some compressed air and cleaned out all the dust in my case, and when I put my video card back in the mobo and tried to boot up, windows said the video card was not functioning properly and needed to be reinstalled. So I uninstalled the card in device manager and reinstalled it with the latest drivers, 197.45. Rebooted, everything seemed okay, and then I played BF2 for 1.5 hours and I got a BSOD that recommended trying a different video adapter. Everything has been fine for the last two days, but I am concerned that I have damaged the video card.

Please put to rest my anxiety lol

    Thank you

    Check the simple stuff:

Reseat the card, make sure all power connections are there. Look at the card and make sure no parts have fallen off the board.

+1 on reseating and reconnecting power leads. i racked my brain for hours once after a cleaning and it was the simplest thing of all.
