@sasha: How would you lower the voltage? Does the new version of AB support this?

No virtu, CPU is at 4.6Ghz and I'm running latest beta drivers.

The only thing that I can see what could make a difference is AA been turned on... the benchmark score only shows the AF setting not the AA.

Yeah I just noticed that you weren't using AA on this run, this makes sense now, thanks :)

I got my PNY gtx 670 ordered, hopefully I can pick it up in 3 days :D

anyway, someone told me that the default cooling isn't that great on the gtx 670? He told me I shouldn't get the PNY, but go for asus or something like that instead. I'm still sticking with the PNY, cause it's about 60 euro's cheaper. However, is this really an issue?

Right now I have an GTX 260 that would easily hit about 50 idle :s

all the reference coolers are pretty crap, changing brand won't make any difference unless it has a non-ref cooler on.

If you can stretch to a non-ref cooler version I would recommend it.

unfortunately I cant afford any more money then this ^^

but after watching the idle and loaded degrees, it's pretty much same as my GTX 260. 50 degrees idle and 80 degrees under load.

I'd gotten an MSI GTX670 2GB OC Ed back when it was first launched, so mine's a reference design model. I've installed it into my 2nd system -
    AMD FX8120 @3.7ghz + CM Hyper 412Slim
    Asus Crosshair V Formula
    8GB OCZ DDR3 1600mhz
    MSI GTX670 2GB OC Ed
    Leadtek GTX460 768MB (PhysX)
120GB Corsair Force GT SSD (OS)
2TB Hitachi DeskStar + 500GB WDC Blue (Storage)
    Seasonic SS-850AT
    64bit Win7 Pro SP1

The GTX460 768MB was a spare card, I had used it as PPU when I had the GTX560OC Ti a while back, decided not to sell it and kept it on as PPU.

Hi guys guess I'll start out by telling you how I ended up with my EVGA 670 FTW. Okay so about 3 months ago I had decided that I have had enough with the constant battle that was my 6950/70 crossfire setup and just went back to one 6950 which was okay but I had to turn my games down more than I liked to play at good FPS. Thats when I decided to upgrade the GFX card I wanted a single card solution so it was between the 680 and 7970 at first but when I posted a thread in both Nvidia and the AMD forums alot of people kept telling me the 670 was the way to go. I was stubborned and got the ASUS 7970 DCU2 TOP, that was a huge mistake. I don't know what ASUS is doing these days but they are not checking their quality, I was one of the lucky consumers that got a card that was unstable at stock in game. So after a week of tinkering with the card I gave up and RMA'd the card back to newegg. I figured I would wait a few weeks and pick up another 7970 Ghtz eddition then I came across this beautifull EVGA 670 FTW in CompUSA for $399.99 usd and could not control myself so now here is my addition to the benches.

Gratz Loophole on the 670 it's a great card.
Once it settles in your hit 10k and that's a hell of a score for a single card.
