I dunno. Admittedly this has taken over me a bit. I was amazed from the start how ppl jumped on the bashing train because product wasn't designed according to their wishes, others because they want it to fail etc.

, it's allways like this, from all " side " ... it's why we have try to push peoples in the "relax " about this as we had not enough information

it's seems you have misunderstood the flame of fanboys from AMD side ( it's the same when it come from Nvidia fanboy ), it's allways like that. im sorry to have treat of idiot, it was bit hard (depend if i was justified or not ) .

You have read the flame and think you need fight against them ... why? most are stupid. sometimes funny ....

but this is not the question here, all we want to know is if this card can fit our benefit ..... And yet with the infos we get ....... it's not good .....

Wish it were true, while being rivals helps keep prices low, the competition splits the PC community too much i feel.

Never going to happen, but could you imagine how good games would be visually with the physical and financial backing of both AMD and Nvidia:infinity:

Ofc threre's a lot of speculation about it ....... i have never stop to say it,all my previous post was with this in mind, when i was say "relax about it" to peoples who was flame Nvidia, it was with this in mind .. all my post was in this mind ... we can't check what happend completely, so let's don't jump on it like idiot for say this card is completely broken ... it's surely not the case ..

But this guy.... wow ...... If it was the 6990 who have got this press, it will run around an make us a thousand of post about it ... what this **** he do us about Chispy ?

Since the start i have try to stay objective in my post... trying to explain this can be a problem with early card, or only under extreme OC, or even simple OC..... trying to don' t throw the paranoia about it ... if he want to comment about peoples or fact, he should start to watch fact first ... not only what he want to see .... like it was a conspiracy from AMD ... why AMD will care about it, at stock, the 6990 is faster ......... louder but faster ..

It's not as their cards need to be sell ... only a thousand of 590 have been produce so far.. and AMD as Nvidia don't need thoses cards outside benchmarks ........ it's not as they will take the market with it .

It look sadly Nvidia have push the Halo cards marketing too far .....

Let's not forget AMD/ATI is still pushin his good old Terrascale architecture, they should have release the new architecture with the HD69xxx, but it have been bring impossible with TSMC who have delete the 32nm, so AMD 6990 or 6970 still use the old architecture who have 5 years now ( the only change who was possible in introduction, for test how it work, it's by using the VLIW4 instead of VLIW5 Stream processors ) when Nvidia have make a completely new architecture: FERMI ... I ask me what will happend when AMD will be able finally to let out his completely new March ( or MotherArchitecture ) new processors with the HD7K or Southern Island but this time in 28nm instead of 32nm . Kepler in 28nm will just be an increased architecture from the one from Nvidia ( aka fERMI who have a lot more to offer ), When i see this good old Terrascale architecture who is 5 years old arrive to close or even beat the new architecture of Nvidia, i am really optimist for AMD in the next generation ........ we are just in the start of 2011 and if TSMC can deliver the 28nm this year, we will maybe see the number 1 of sales of gpu ( AMD, Nvidia make more money, but is not the most sale ) increase his lead .... OFC NVIDIA can offer a lot with this FERMI architecture... and we will get some suprise from it in next generations ( personally i will not be suprised of the quality of what it can bring well used, if they can focus on the quality, the performance and forget marketing ... it's funny to see around in forum peoples no more read and listen marketing , but more peoples are going to the hardware side )

YOu have seen the PCB lol MSI should make the PCB for nvidia and AMD .. If i was an engineer for thoses company, i will be really pissed by the work of MSI have done on thoses card ...

The funny thing, you put a 6970 and a GTX 580 lightning side to side, you can't tell what card is the amd and what card is the 580 ... just the core size change ..
When you see that you can imagine MSI is capable of make great OC motherboard, if only they will let down LUCID ..

Well for be honest, DFI have not see the things coming, all other company have start to do what DFI was made, Overclocker / enthusiast motherboard, with full possibility of tweaks your hardware, something only DFI was give before with their motherboard ( raa the genius NF4 SLI DR or the CFX3200 )

Asus have eat DFI, it was easy, they was continue to make standard motherboard, but at same time they have increase their offer for enthusiast motherboard. i remember, with Asus the only enthusiast motherboard was the WS series ( workstation, or WallStreet ) , but now even the cheaper one offer bios tweaking possibiliy... DFI had sadly nothing more to offer, and most of overclocker have take the Asus or Gigabyte road ( without forget EVGA etc ) ...

without overclocker im not sure the motherboard market will be what it is now. There's a reason the well known name of overclocker are now working for gigabyte, Asus or MSI, and the result is the motherboard as Evga quad SLI classified, Asus Maximus, MSI bigbang, gigabyte UD7 and 9 etc .....

I love those hilter movies haha, Either way its good thing I dont care for cards that 500$ dollars and OC them, Long as the run 60 fps stable I could careless and for most part the games I do play do run 60fps stable, I want 560 but only cause I want a new card, not cause I need it to run my games.
