The new GTX 560 Ti's release tomorrow, correct ? 11/29
looks like someone at ocn already got one.
Yep, same here, it didnt work correctly.
I think bios should be v. xx.xx.xx.xx.01 for this model because there are two different bios rom. But it could be something else too.
We are keep searching...
i just got 3 of those msi cards i already had two 570's (have one still)so i just want to play decent on my new monitor.
been on 21 crt for 8yrs but found a lcd i like alittle bit
hope i can use nhibitor to change a few things and find a cb bios i heard they cb around -50ish
i'll see when i get them i guess.
the msi 488 card has two more phases then the gc 570 plus better cooling msi card has rather low clocks stock thuo.
I would say this is a good deal on one of the better 570's $340
card cant be more the the 570 but if you look at all the reviews the performace is very similar to a 570 so it has to be close.
you could get say a evga classy 488 for $300 they are built on a 480 gtx pcb 8+6 pin too, card out of the box is faster then a stock 570 due to the 797 core speed.
so 30 bucks more for similar(sorta) cards is not bad in the states although
i'd wait till every one has all the card brands in stock and or give sales in a few weeks
heck if i wanted a 570' i would have got a tfIII /pe oc card for $380 not the cheapest one.
i just got the 488 to play cus i'm a vga junky thats all .
yea this TFIII keeps it ultra cool, hehe :nerd:at 960mhz 1.10v i saw it max at 70-72C (3dmark 2011) auto fan speed, otherwise ~ 65-68C @ 900mhz 1.049v.
I definitely want an MSI card..from the benchmarks that I have seen, the MSI 448 core is within a couple of fps on most games compared to a gtx 570
I dont want a gtx 570 with a reference cooler so the price difference I am looking at I guess, is the MSI GTX 570 vs the MSI GTX 560 Ti 448 core
The MSI GTX 570 listed above, I would be fine with
thats nice good 570 gw like i said thou hold on a few weeks see where the prices go.
as for msi ummm yo bros make the card a tiny bit thinner for tri sli to have all the fans spinning ...you know so i dont have to mod the things myself..either that or sell them as 2.05 slot cards..next time you can send me a few i will get you on the right path thanks.
i tested only all three at the same time so far and i did free up some fan space with thin pieces of hard rubber.
i ran 15 minutes occt at 810 stock voltage, max temps 80c with a 140cfm fan on top of them
1 cards vid is 1.04 lol the other's not too bad.
i think occt is only testing two cards thuo?
ss of gpu temps in occt test
Well, I have had my new MSI Twin Frozr II cooled 560Ti for a few weeks now, and I think I have got it nice and happy.
The Vcore is set at 1075mV, core at 1006Mhz and Memory at 2299Mhz (x2). Initially, the card wouldn't go anywhere neat 1Ghz with the initial BIOS, but I found a newer one on the MSI site and it made the card nice and stable at the aforementioned clock speeds.
Needless to say, it's fast as hell at these speeds, and paired with my CPU, makes my system feel like it can take on most games with ease. Of course as time goes on, I am confident that adding another card to this system will make for a decent upgrade too. I'm happy, and glad to be back on an Nvidia based system if I'm honest.
I really like my hawk it will go 1050+ with 1.08 for benches anyway.
heres a shot of my 560 ti sli in 3d11 just as comparero to the 488's.
ti foefoety8 sli
I used the 1.05 vid card(1.14v) with the .989 (1.09v)vid card and added 100mv
910/2200 was ok for bf3 and ss3
i got a crappy video of ss3 @910 sli here its way cooler with just two cards
in d311 910/2300 was np.
crappy system ram speeds i can pick up a few 100 points in phx test with my other rams.
i did test my lowest vid card by itself in occt and was ok 910/2250 10minutes no errors with only 1.067v
the same voltage good for 955/2300 in 3d11 i hik i ca get aliittle more out of it later.
will run tri in benches later :wanker:
I ran some 448 tests today
3d11 x preset 968/2300 1.13v
sli p score 935/2300 1.10v
tri p score 900/2260 1.15v -1.09v -1.08v
3d03 rti 930/2260
That thing should be in a GTX570 owners thread
It says 968Mhz in GPU core? Very nice indeed. That should get it close to GTX580 with a lil bit of luck!
1Ghz GTX560 Ti its already head to head with the GTX570 anyways.
I was not sure that it would fit it in this thread but did not want to start another one since its in name 560 ti.
I'll get back to p single scores
i got so sick of the cards being so close so i took two soft sli connectors instead,it worked as long as you used the tri connector to enable tri first, otherwise no go with just 2 connectors for tri.
anyway what a difference space and loud fast fans make
just dx9 old benches with tri 448 is easier on the cards
960 in tri i found ok for 01 03 05 and 06.
since i have a 250 cfm fam on top and a 190cfm 120 in back its way better now but loud as crap ...water cooled would be killer
got one prepped up for dice right now just to test real quick but my 2600k will be on air i will use 3d11
* i posted in wrong thread before :wanker:
as for my quick dice test
i took it easy on it to start
temps -28c to -45c
1000 np 1.12v
the max clock @1.12v i could reproduce
ran into blackscreens and white screens with any clocks over 1050 or voltage over 1.19 need ovp/ocp for theses puppies
i used 1.16v for 1045
but just blackscreens after.
huh i used my GTX460 as a GTX 560 Ti for a while.. flashed with Ti bios.. lol it was fun
Reading this thread I'm not sure what to do, was going to get a reg GTX560ti, but it looks like so many issues with them, the new gtx560ti imo is overpriced so that's out.
I'm going sandybridge, so I either risk it and get a gtx560ti, or i might keep my 8800GT till the nvidia next gen is out?
