no specific drivers mate , i get decent results with any driver 190 series and upwards , had a few issues with the latest two whql sets loosing profiles but thats it , perf is about the same

i find scaling varies dramatically from game to game some games in looking at nearly twice the perf some im looking at 25% some show none , it all depends on the game and your cpu

ive found leaving the sli profile at NV recommended the easiest and best option too but you can always download nhancer and fiddle with the settings , im far too lazy for that , and i dont think nhancer works with the lates drivers

Id say stick with the latest drivers for everything and you should be ok :)

Thanks Im using 197.13 and i forgot to mention im running win 7 64 bit on M4n75td M\B and win xp pro 32 bit on M4n72-E M\B, I see these 2XX.XX drivers I have been kinda busy of late and havnt been keeping up on the particulars of these drivers, i usually do try drivers as they come out, but just havnt had the time . I rode a pair of 8800 GT in SLI until i couldnt stand seeing all the chatter about the 4xx video cards comming out im firm beliver in not buying the tech as it comes out and going with last wave as i get better prices and see the issues get worked out in the drivers,as for the loss of a few FPS compared to the loss of a few hundred dollars, ill save the Ging everytime!
I dont use Nhancer as i have RT and NV control pannel and i use Nv recomended as you suggest,3 sets of controls for my GPU has only caused issues in the past. Thanks enjoy the summer
